A Coherent Mixture of (Good) News
Earlier this month production wrapped on EP (Deluxe Version) with a session at Bluetone Studio. All of the content had been canned, and Michael Ghegan and I spent an hour listening and sorting through takes to select the best material for “Caution (Rise Of The Tyrant)” to appear on the album.
“Hip Flop — Single [Take 1]” went live in iTunes and other digital markets Friday, Sep. 23, 2011. A complete list of online stores is posted below. You can view the album in iTunes here. Both takes are available to download for free from the music player at Adam De Lucia’s Tektonics. The quality is a little bit higher in iTunes because Kermit is setup to stream.
In other distribution news EP (Deluxe Version) was distributed Tuesday, Sep. 27, 2011. Digital downloads are available now from the “record store” at thetektonics.com. The album will receive wider digital release on Jan. 6, 2012, and hard copies are expected to ship on Oct. 10.
Press and promotion will begin once hard copies are in hand, and local stores like Holdfast, Asbury Park, NJ, have agreed to carry the album. Please email press@thetektonics.com to request an interview, press kit or to discuss other promotional opportunities. Please do NOT send solicitations for paid advertisements. Management at Adam De Lucia’s Tektonics has 100% of the say in advertising. It will do you no good to bother the band about that.
New songs/versions off the album have been posted to the audio player.

The deluxe version of the EP will be available in above stores and Spotify too.
